Summary

As the founding designer, created and established all of design principles, design standards, design process, research process, and hiring process for future design team members. Built strong relationships with stakeholders and team leads to ensure strong and highly connected working cycles. Hired, managed, and mentored one additional designer.

Designed the entirety of the core product offerings, including high-level projects such as Lulasafe. Designed, developed and maintained an entirely new design system.

Conducted user research sessions. Gathered, analyzed, and turned findings into meaningful insights to inform the overall designs. Worked closely with marketing on developing assets and establishing a new product branding. Worked alongside founders to design multiple presentation decks, while creating templates for easy repetition.

LUX Design System

I designed a design system that prioritized simplicity and visual beauty, significantly enhancing the speed of design and front-end development. By creating reusable components and clear guidelines, I ensured consistency and ease of use. Collaborating with key stakeholders allowed me to address specific needs, while comprehensive documentation made the system accessible to all, streamlining workflows and enabling quick integration of pre-designed elements.

The need arose soon after joining the team. I conducted a large overall UX audit of the existing system and user experience, leading me to pushing for a entirely new design system.

Investor/company slide decks

I created numerous slide decks for various high-stakes presentations, including the pivotal one that secured our Series C funding. Each deck was meticulously crafted to convey key messages clearly and compellingly, incorporating data visualization, storytelling, and strategic insights. These presentations were essential in articulating our vision, demonstrating our progress, and convincing stakeholders of our growth potential.
